Raw Minerals Collection

The Raw Minerals Collection by Raw Natural Beauty is another one of those products I am yet to try.

From what I’ve read, Bismuth Oxychloride is the main ingredient, which is similar to Bare Escentuals. It’s also the main cause of itchiness in mineral makeup too. So if you have sensitive skin, you might want to sample it first.

You might also want to search through the comments to see if there are any good reviews on this one.

Here’s everything that it comes with:

I read about this one in Lucky, and couldn’t wait to try it, but turned out more disappointed than anything. The Bismuth Oxychloride did make my skin itchy and it was way too shiny. It doesn’t start off shiny, but the more it sits, the shinier it becomes. It caked up, and actually looked kind of fake, which was horrible, which is something they claim the product not to be. If you order it, be very careful, because I’ve heard of many people getting scammed. I don’t know if they’re getting scammed or that they just didn’t read the fine print. But, you have to return it in 30-days or less, and make sure you speak with someone on the phone, and that you get a confirmation number or something, otherwise you might run into problems.

I don’t know what about anyone else, but I actually really liked this line. It was better than BE for me, and it actually didn’t cause the itchiness that I thought it would. The packaging was really cute, and the brushes that it comes with are my fav. I read a few reviews that were negative, and the main reason was because of their customer service and not the product line. But the complaints were usually from people who didn’t know what they were getting into in the first place. So be sure to read everything before you order. The whole free trial offer, is not really free. You have to pay shipping & handling which was like $6.95 for me, and you have to return the whole thing back (minus the 3 free brushes) within 30-days, in order to prevent your CC from getting charged.
I wasn’t expecting to keep the kit, but it turned out that I liked it, so I did. So, if you’re going to order, be sure that you’re prompt with returning it back to them if you don’t like it. Otherwise, you’re going to end up paying for it.
    Just my two cents. 🙂

Don’t order Glow from Raw Minerals. I ordered, returned it per their instructions and was still charged $90 on my credit card. They would not refund my money, only give me a store credit. Big rip off!!!!
