Aqua Elements Collection

Ok, so I’ve been waiting to get my hands on this line ever since I heard about it in Lucky Magazine.

I must admit that I’m very impressed. I really think that it was better for me than the Bare Escentuals and their mineral line. I’ve heard a lot of people comparing this Lauren Hutton Collection to the Bare Minerals line, but again, I gotta say that I liked it better.

I didn’t get the tingling that the Bare foundation gave me. It was weightless and smooth, and best of all, it didn’t feel like I was wearing any makeup. 🙂

Some other benefits that I’ve heard about it are:

  • It doesn’t cause itchiness (very true)
  • It’s the first water-mineral makeup
  • There isn’t much need for touch-ups
  • It doesn’t fade or settle into fine lines
  • It doesn’t leave a shine

As with any makeup, I think that your skin tone and texture will most likely determine whether or not you like the stuff. She has a little more info on her site about skin tone, so you might want to check it out.

There are like three different packages that she offers too, the Classic, Premier and Luxury. Here is the rundown on each:

Classic Collection Includes

  • Base Elements
  • Color Elements
  • Loose Powder Foundation
  • Instructional Brochure
  • FREE Loose Powder Brush
  • FREE Aqua Elements Tinted Moisturizer
  • FREE Spot/Sheer Concealer Duo Brush
  • FREE Eye Shadow Duo Brush
  • FREE Lip Pencil
  • Price: $42.95+$8.95/shipping & handling

I’ve seriously tried every mineral makeup kit on the market, and I have the receipts to prove it. I really, really liked this one. Every item was great! I have very fair skin with a lot of pink tone, so I went with the yellow, and it was amazing. My skin looks flawless. I would definitely recommend the Lauren Hutton collection.

You can include me as another person who loves this kit. I got on from HSN the other night kind of by impulse, and I’m so happy I did. The Aqua Elements foundation powder is lovely and is incredibly soft and weightless, yet it covers great. I didn’t itch at all when wearing this product, which has been a big problem for me in the past. The eye shadows and blush are beautiful and very natural looking. I love that you can mix the concealers to change them for the seasons. Overall, I would recommend this product and any of the Lauren Hutton collection to anyone who’s interested.

I’m sooo happy to know that I’m not the only one who LOVES this stuff! I had gotten the face disc first, but it was messy because the powders kept getting mixed up with the creams…horrible. Then I went on to the Passport to Africa which was good, but there were a few things that I didn’t use, which were annoying. But, this line is absolutely perfect! The foundation seriously gives light to medium coverage, and doesn’t even feel like it’s on. It doesn’t get cakey if I apply more either. It doesn’t look shiny at all like some of the other brands. The concealers are exactly the same as in other Lauren Hutton kits, which are great. The lipstick gives perfect color without going too overboard. I love how the little cubes it comes in, are easy to travel with…
    It’s just great, I can’t say enough. 🙂
